The nose has a soft peat smoke and a rooty character. There are herbal notes with freshly harvested hay, there are also hints of winter berries. The palate is quite well rounded and full, there are notes of cut hay, oats and honey, caramel and a touch of dry oak. The finish is long and smooth, where a little fruit note develops.
