[2 notices of Walter Käch’s death] posters This is a serious typeWe are deeply saddened to inform friends and acquaintances that our dear Walter Kch Altherr (whom we usually know as just Walter Kch or Kaech), the influential Swiss lettering master and graphic designer who taught for decades at the Kunstgewerbeschule Zrich, where he famously trained Adrian Frutiger in the precise structural geometry of classical Roman letterforms, is dead. Here are two notices about his untimely passing in 1970.
