From the Ottoman era a beautiful block printed cotton quilt printed in Kandili, an Asian suburb of Istanbul which formally had a significant Greek population where cotton printing went in and by which term these prints are popularly known. Hand printed and painted in pretty soft pinks with a traditional print of flowers and a hanging incense burner, the type that you find in a church or mosque . Originally used as a prayer mat or wall
