Issued c. 1840 45, likely Paris. Mid 19th century engraved map with original hand color. Decorative vignette greatly enhances visual appeal. All along the bottom of the map is a long chain of Mts. of the Moon, an apocryphal range which moves around in placement on many maps of this era. Well preserved, nice looking example with pleasing age patina.
