In Champagne, 2009 began with the coldest winter in 15 years, followed by a hot spring and summer. With fourteen years of aging, this vintage shows notable maturity. It opens with rich aromas of toasted brioche, blond tobacco, and caramelized fruit, balanced by hints of honey, frangipane, and subtle spices.
