Cocoknits - Bamboo Cable Needles Lace this softly-colored gradient yarn isI like to use bamboo double pointed needles for two things, when working cables and when picking up stitches to create the shoulders of a Cocoknits Method sweater. I like that bamboo is stickier than metal so the needle doesnt slip out of my stitches as easily. But, I was constantly storing the needle tucked into my hair or behind my ear, even between my teeth and I would invariably lose it. This was especially problematic when traveling and knitting!
