〈北極光〉準備這張廣東專輯的初期，Karen很快便選定重唱〈北極光〉，這首歌的國語版〈盛夏的果實〉是Karen經典情歌之一。今次現場錄製〈北極光〉一曲，Karen希望在編曲中加入中樂樂器雲鑼，便即時想起邀請老朋友錢國偉幫忙，一起參與錄製及拍攝。香港中樂團的敲擊樂手錢國偉與Karen識於微時，二人曾是香港青年中樂團的樂手。Karen解釋道：「要睇到北極光要講求緣份同時機，雲鑼嘅音色，喺戶外演奏時有一種飄渺嘅感覺，同歌曲嘅意境十分配合，所以就有今次嘅合作。」7
