Uco Deus, Cabernet Franc (2021) red blend Chardonnay and Savignin from TheMendoza, Argentina. Cabernet Franc. Low intervention. 30 year old vines of Cabernet Franc. Aromas of crushed black fruits, rosy spice, and sweet herbs. Incredibly silky on the palate, gentle tannins emerge at the end, extending the wine into an impressively long finish. Fermentation in concrete eggs, followed by 8 months of aging in Italian amphorae. No fining, nor filtration.
