Sontag, Henriette - Signature and Vintage Print CDVs Composers Vienna 21 March 1910German super star soprano (1806 1854) of international fame. Sontag was the soprano of choice for the soprano solo in the world premiere of Beethovens 9th Symphony and in his Missa Solemnis. She also created the title role in Euryanthe, opera by Carl Maria von Weber, later in 1854 Sontag entoned Mexicos national anthem for the first time.
