The only critisism to date I have had from a very keen steam personage was the fact that the bricks in the wall should be a shade or two darker

the Hamilcar could carry 7 tons of cargo which would normally be heavy armoured equipment and army personnel

many were shot down

I thought this touch completed the painting and added a wonderfull contrast

I could hear the rattle and echoy screeches as it passed through the brick lined cutting pulling out of Euston station London. The rendition of smoke and steam fascinates me especially when it comes to painting it. I tried to catch the effect of the sun shinning through the smoke casting the lovely shadow rays in the background. The
