The original drawing by Margot of this design can be seen on page 176 of the monograph Margot Van Voorhies, The Art of Mexican Enamelwork. Margot van Voorhies Carr (? 1985), known as Margot de Taxco, was a pioneering woman jewelry designer who introduced the use of enamel into Mexican jewelry.
