Terre du Lias 2022 Chardonnay and vinified by carbonic macerationA well named Chardonnay: it comes from a vineyard in Pupillin, on the slopes of the lieu dit "Sous la Roche", sitting at 450 metres altitude on a blue marl terroir that dates to the Jurassic geological period known as Lias. Vinified and then aged in large oak casks and earthenware jars, this is a white wine with character, combining fruit and minerality, at once smooth and taut: a typical Jura Chardonnay that distinguishes itself from the Burgundy
